Naheed Dosani, MD, is a palliative care physician who cares for homeless and vulnerably housed individuals with dignity and compassion, whether in a shelter or on the street. While still in residency, Naheed created the Palliative Education and Care for the Homeless (PEACH) program to deliver community-based, trauma-informed palliative care 24/7—at shelters and on the streets—using a first-of-its-kind mobile unit.
