Ali Shaheed Muhammad is the DJ/producer best known as one-third of the legendary hip hop group, A Tribe Called Quest. He has consistently used his voice to activate cultural transformation. In addition to more recent solo work, he has also collaborated with Mos Def, John Legend, Maxwell, D’Angelo, Gil Scott-Heron, and many others.
