BJ Miller, MD is a palliative care physician at UCSF and leading voice reframing society’s discourse on the field of death and dying. BJ is co-author of A Beginner’s Guide to the End: Practical Advice for Living Life and Facing Death and his TED Talk, “What Really Matters at the End of Life” has been viewed over 9 million times. BJ’s powerful perspective on the senses, community and presence in designing a better ending has been featured by Oprah Winfrey, PBS, the New York Times, Krista Tippett, Tim Ferris and many others.
